"Avoid Proten Services at All Costs – Unreliable and Unprofessional I had one of the worst experiences with Proten and strongly advise against using this company. I scheduled an appointment for a damp and timber report at 11 AM on a Wednesday. To confirm, I even sent a message to the surveyor at 10:06 AM, letting him know I would be at the property on time. He read my message, so I assumed everything was set. I drove 30 minutes from Newcastle to the property, only to be left waiting. I messaged the surveyor again, asking him to knock when he arrived—no response. By 11:20 AM, I called him directly, and he casually told me he was “just getting into the car” and would call me back. He never did. Instead, someone named Kelly from the company called me, claiming that they had never booked my appointment. I explained that I had spoken to the surveyor a week prior, and we both agreed on the date and time. Despite my messages being read and my time being completely wasted, Kelly offered no apology and showed zero concern for the inconvenience caused. The worst part? I am 37 weeks pregnant, exhausted, and had to make the unnecessary trip just because this company is completely unprofessional and disorganized. No communication, no accountability, no respect for customers’ time. ⚠️ Do NOT use Proten Services. They are unreliable, disorganized, and have terrible customer service. They will waste your time without a second thought."
